FLORENCE RUTH (nee Sorkin), known to all as "Floss," passed away at the Abramson Center for Jewish Life on December 5, 2014. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the wife of the late Jordan Robert Davis, or "Buddy." She will be forever remembered by her daughter, Barbara (Eugene) Levin , her son, Robert (Carol Kleinmaier) Davis, her granddaughter, Dr. Lissa (Dr. Eddy Mizrahi) Levin Mizrahi, and her brother, Charles Sorkin. Even though Floss did not have the chance to meet Jordan Rachel Mizrahi, her two-month old great granddaughter, Floss and Bud, Jordan's namesake, will be in Jordan's heart when their memories are passed down to her. Funeral services will be held graveside at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA, on Sunday at noon. Shiva will be observed Sunday Only at the home of Barbara and Eugene Levin. Donations in honor of Florence can be made to the Abramson Center for Jewish Life where she received passionate and impeccable care during her final days.
