Mrs. Florence "Flossie" Ruth (Greenberg) Brodman passed away at age 89 on November 25, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 5, 1929 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the late Dora and William Greenberg. Florence was the beloved wife of the late Sander (Sandy) Brodman. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Elstein (Joel); son, Alan Brodman (Karen); brother, David (Judy) Greenberg; and sister, Leah Greenberg DeVine. She is also survived by her four grandsons who loved her dearly (Zachary Elstein, Joshua Elstein (Alberta), Gabriel Elstein (Angela), and Jesse Brodman (Falon). Florence also has six great-grandchildren. Having graduated from Jewish Hospital in 1951, she was an Emergency Room RN at Albert Einstein Medical Center for decades. After retiring, Florence and Sandy stayed busy volunteering. They were active with the Friends of Pennypack, Friends Hospital Horticultural Program, and participated in multiple trips to Israel with the Volunteers for Israel. She liked to read, play solitaire, and the TV show Dancing with the Stars, and probably could have sported a bumper sticker, "I'd rather be doing laundry". But mostly, her favorite thing in life was to help others. She always thought of others above herself. She will be greatly missed by the many whose lives she touched. There will be a graveside service at Montefiore Cemetery on Thursday, November 29th at 1 PM.
