Evelyn Katz

Evelyn M. Katz. Age 97 passed away on Friday morning August 30, 2024. She grew up on Shedaker Street in Philadelphia, and worked in her parents grocery story. Evelyn attended Olney High School. She raised her family in Drexel Hill, PA, and later lived in Bakers Bay Condominium in Torresdale with her husband Frank. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Reba Gordon, brother Eli (Sarah), sister Edith (Ray), son Harold, husbands David and Frank, companion Marvin, and nephews Larry and Albert. 

She is survived by her sons Mark (Anh), Carl (Debra), daughter-in-law Elinore (Skip), and grandchildren Gregory (Koryn), Monica (Joseph), Emily (Michael), and Alex (Anna), great grandchildren Joey, Michael, Mackenzie, and Benjamin, nephew Paul (Alice), and nieces Leigh (Lewis) and Miriam (Jeff).

 She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, dancing, and attending exercise class. Evelyn worked for several years at American Standard Plumbing, and HB Frazier Electrical Contractors.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects in the Cemetery Chapel in the Mausoleum at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA at 1 PM on Sunday, September, 8 2024.
