Eunice Salzmann

EUNICE C., (nee Chaiken), Dec. 21, 2003, wife of the late Dr. Harry A., mother of Dr. Jacob (Deanna) Salzmann, Dr. Andrea (Dr. Arthur D.) Boxer and Laurence (Dr. Ayse Gursam-Salzmann) Salzmann, grandmother of Dr. Louis (Suzanne Simenhoff) Boxer, Michael Salzmann, Sarah Boxer, Han Ariel Salzmann, great grandmother of Samuel Harry Boxer and Adam Zachary Boxer, she was the daughter of the late Jacob B. and Jeannette Chaiken. She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1936 and was an accomplished Pianist who performed publicly at The Festival Cubano, she was a volunteer for the Phila. Orchestra and the former Mt. Sinai Hospital, she was a substitute Teacher in the Phila. School District. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Tues. 1 P.M. precisely at Montefiore Cem. (Sec. 7). Shiva will be held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Boxer on Tues. and at Eunice's residence from 3 to 5 P.M. on Wed. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to tothe Curtis Institute of Music.
