ETHEL RUTH, 92, of Chesapeake, died March 7, 2005, in a local hospital. Mrs. Praissman was born in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of the late Max and Molly Gitomer. Mrs. Praissman was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Praissman and a sister, Sally Goldstein. Survivors include her son, Fred Martin Praissman and his wife Carol of Chesapeake; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey Mark Praissman and his wife Cathy of Stamford CT. Sharon Ingrid Praissman of Baltimore MD; and 2 brothers, Jack Gitomer of Delray Beach FL and Herb Gitomer and his wife Phyllis of Phila. PA. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 A.M., on Monday, March 14, 2005, at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St., Phila. Burial will be at Har Zion Cemetery in Collingdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago IL 60611.
