KOROSTOFF
Ethel L. (nee Newfield), Feb. 20, 2016. Wife of Irving, mother of Neil Korostoff (Stacy Levy), Gail Korostoff (Ben Adams) and Susan (Rob) Okun, grand-mother of Sarah and Jonah Adams, Eli and Julia Okun, Pierie and Izzy Korostoff. Ethel was a compassionate and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cared for her parents Rose and Jacob for over 30 years. The 1953 valedictorian of Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing, she worked at that hospital and as a nurse practitioner in the Philadelphia public schools for 31 years. Ethel held degrees in nursing (R.N. Einstein, B.S. West Chester), education (M.Ed. Arcadia) and nurse practitioner (M.N.P. Penn). In retirement she volunteered for Abington Hospital, the Beth Sholom food pantry, the Jewish Family Services, and she sang in the choir at Keneseth Israel. She will be remembered with love by her family and all those whose lives she touched with her compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday 1 P.M. precisely
