Ernest Leasoff

Ernest Leasoff, fondly known as Ernie, passed away on May 23, 2026.

Ernie, a retired high school math teacher, committed his life to education and to those he loved, leaving behind a legacy of intellect and kindness.

His passion for teaching and his patient, thoughtful approach made him a respected figure in education and a beloved mentor to many.

Ernie was a devoted husband of 67 years to Faye Leasoff, with whom he shared many years of partnership and support.

He was the proud father of Barrie Hovis (Jack z”l) and Adam Leasoff (Sandy).

Brother of Paul Leasoff and Burton Leasoff ( z”l).
