Elaine Shapiro

Elaine (Lerner) Shapiro, on October 19, 2024.  Devoted wife of the late Kenneth Shapiro. Beloved mother of Gail (Shapiro) Blum, the late Larry Shapiro and the late Robert Shapiro. Sister of Etta Indictor, the late Benny Lerner, and the late Joyce Gross.   Cherished Bubby of Rebecca Michels, Heath Ludwig, Ryan (Valerie) Shapiro, Lance (Michelle) Shapiro, and Lindsey (Michael) Blum-Cosmo. Treasured Gigi of Kenni Michels, Ali Michels, Lacey Shapiro, Ella Shapiro, Sydney Cosmo, and Michael Cosmo.   Elaine was a Bubby to all that knew and loved her. Her kugel, gefilte fish, and matzo ball soup were legendary! Her family took a video of the gefilte fish process, with Elaine as the star of her own cooking show.   

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services on Friday, October 25, 11:30 AM precisely at Mt. Sharon Cemetery, 502 E. Springfield Road, Springfield PA 19064. 

Shiva luncheon will be held at Paul’s Run following the graveside service. If not attending the service, please arrive at Paul’s Run after 1pm.   Donations can be made in her name to Paul’s Run Retirement Community’s Benevolent Care Fund 9896 Bustelton Ave Philadelphia, Pa. 19115
