Elaine, a treasured matriarch, who loved and gave everything she had to her family, passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She was an artist who loved sharing her joy of art with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She also loved Atlantic City, playing (and winning!) games, and dancing the night away, as well as traveling the world in her younger years.
After growing up an only child, Elaine and the love of her life, William, created a huge family and had enough love to go around to all of them. Even to her friends and acquaintances, to know her was to love her. Her beautiful warm smile could light up a room and make you feel like you were the most important and special person in her life, even if she was meeting you for the first time.
Elaine is survived by her children Denise Willmott (James Willmott), Harvey Madonick (Kay Madonick) and Tracey Derman (Paul Derman); her grandchildren Amber Condit-Shaw (Megan Condit-Shaw), Scott Shaw (Kayla Shaw), Jared Shaw, Ashley Wilson (Skylar Wilson), Courtney Madonick Grainger (Glenn Grainger), Jonathan Madonick, Darby Madonick, Whitney Derman, Allison Derman, Chelsie Derman, Michael Krieger, Joseph Krieger, Randy Krieger and Barry Sieccipine; her great grandchildren Kaiden Condit-Shaw, Emma Matthews, Grayson Shaw, Brighton Wilson, Hayes Wilson, Finn Wilson, Tate Grainger, Emma Grainger, Savannah Krieger and Mikey Krieger; her first cousin Edward Mittleman and sister-in-law Della Katz. She was predeceased by her husband, William Madonick and daughter Paula Andrus, as well as her parents Emanuel Berger and Selma Berger.
Elaine will be immensely missed but will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, comforted by the memories of endless laughter and love.
A service to celebrate Elaine‘s remarkable life will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966, at 1:30 pm, followed by a burial service at Shalom Memorial Park, 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. After the services, all are warmly invited to gather and continue remembering Elaine at the home of her granddaughter, Amber Condit-Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please honor Elaine’s memory by donating to the Elaine Madonick Memorial scholarship, which will be provided to a deserving Philadelphia high school student to assist with college expenses.
