Elaine Geiger

Elaine Geiger (nee Gefter) age 86 of Elkins Park, passed away Saturday Feb 17, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Geiger. Devoted Mother of Debbie (Larry) Schorr, Mitchell (Kee) Geiger and Ilene (Matt) Berg. Cherished Grandmother of Liz, Lauren and Emily Schorr. Career nurse who enjoyed teaching others and completed her career as a School Nurse in the School district of Philadelphia.  Active with Hadassa, she loved horticulture, shopping, cooking and baking. She was an animal lover and supported many animal rescue efforts. An avid reader and traveler, she was fiercely independent until the end.  

Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday, February 19, 1:00 PM precisely, at GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2^nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966. Interment Montefiore Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the Schorr residence Monday through Wednesday.
