Eileen Stoltz (nee Serota) passed away on March 25, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia in 1944, Eileen lived with her parents, Edward and Lena, and big sister, Myra, on Bouvier Street in East Oak Lane. Following graduation from Olney High School while working at the Philadelphia Gas Works she met the love of her life, Marshall, in 1964. Following a whirlwind romance and a proposal at Bowman’s Tower in Washington Crossing, they were married June 20 the following year - beginning a nearly 60-year life together.
Mother to a daughter, Robyn, and a son, Craig, Eileen was best known for her loving, kind demeanor to friends and strangers alike and, above all else, for her commitment to keeping an impeccably clean home. She was also heavily involved in the family’s business, the Norman Rockwell Museum in Philadelphia, serving as its bookkeeper throughout its existence and as its office/giftshop manager for many years.
After spending most of her life in Philadelphia, Eileen and Marshall relocated to Central Florida in 2012. She unfortunately did not get to enjoy retirement for long before Alzheimer’s Disease began to impact her life. Through those challenges, Eileen was always known to fellow residents of her communities as the smiling lady who loved music and dancing, and who was forever blowing kisses to others.
Eileen was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and Grammy. She is survived by her grateful children Robyn Solomon (Avi) and Craig Stoltz (Jennifer); grandchildren Alexis, Logan (Raychel), Emma, Shane, Reed, Sarina (Elie), Hersh, and Rafi; and great-grandchild Tzofia. She was predeceased by her parents, sister and, most recently, her devoted husband Marshall in September 2024.
