Husband of the late Jean (nee Siegel), father of Susan Auerbach (Mark) and Shelly Koffler (Tony Ferretti), brother of Gigi Ruben, grandfather of Ace Rosenstein (Barri) Stacey Rosenstein, Lisa Auerbach (Daniel), David Auerbach, Kimberlee Auerbach and Michael Auerbach (Michal), great grandfather of Adam and Andrew Rosenstein, Sophie Auerbach, Joshua Auerbach and Ashley Auerbach, loving companion of Gail Joselson. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he served as an army/air corps pilot in WWII, was an avid golfer, devoted sportsman, and one of the founding members of Radnor Valley Country Club. As Chairman and CEO of his family's business, Sea Gull Lighting, the legacy of the Hirsch and Solomon families shall live on strong because of the culture he and his brother-in-law, daughters, nephews, and grandchildren have created.
