EDWARD, 67, passed Sept. 16, 2008 in Las Vegas NV after a long illness. Ed was born on Jan. 26, 1941 in Phila. PA. He served his country from 1958 to 1962 in the US Navy on the USS Oriskany, and went on to enjoy a 46-year career in the insurance industry. He spent most of his career at American International Group (AIG) where he was a respected colleague, mentor and friend to many around the world. He retired in 2006 to Las Vegas NV.
Ed is survived by his daughter Stephanie Tomlinson, husband Mark and granddaughter Samantha of Elmhurst IL; son Michael Snyder and fiancée Meagan Sears of Baltimore MD; father Jacob Snyder of Phila. PA; brother Marvin Snyder and wife Sandy of Las Vegas NV; brother Jeffrey Snyder and wife Fran of Farmers Branch TX and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his mother Ida in 1999 and his wife Barbara in 2005, whose loving arms await his return.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Tuesday 1 P.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment Montefiore Cemetery.
