EDWARD R., on May 31, 2015. Brother of Sandy Mikelberg. Born and raised in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia, Edward was veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving 7 months in Japan on an aircraft carrier in an air anti-submarine squadron. He also served in California as a 3rd Petty Officer as an administrative yeoman, and received the Korean Service and United Nations Service Medals. A graduate of Temple University with a degree in Accounting, Edward also worked for approximately 25 years for the IRS, retiring in 1991. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Tuesday 11 A.M. precisely at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
