EDWARD I., 96, Aug. 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Dorothea Bernstein (nee Giannettassio). Devoted brother of Stanley D. (Charlotte) Bernstein and brother-in-law of Angela Giannettassio. Predeceased by four sisters and five brothers. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and several generations beyond. He was a resident of Philadelphia and graduated from Simon Gratz High School. Edward was a founding member of Quaker Moving and Storage and served for many years as its President. He was also a veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral services Monday 1 P.M. precisely at GOLDSTEIN'S ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at his late residence. Contribu-tions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
