Earl N. Helfand

Earl N. Helfand, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022. Loving father of Lynne (Bob) Wolfberg and Scott Helfand. Adoring grandfather of Chayla, David, Eli, and Zoe. Dear brother of the late Daniel Helfand. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Jeanne Helfand and his former in-laws Herman and Edith Taylor and brother-in-law Steven Taylor. Also survived by his former wife Susan Helfand, sister-in-law Sylvia Helfand as well as countless friends and cousins. He was a unique individual who laughed at his own jokes (because, as he said, no one else would), and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved animals (domestic and wild), never met a stranger, and treated everyone with kindness and respect. A life-long Phillies fan, he followed the team through thick and thin (and, for better or worse, taught his kids to do likewise). Hopefully everyone reading this will carry some of his spirit with them, because the world will be a better place for it.  Family and friends are invited to his funeral service on Sunday, July 24, 2022, 11:30 am, GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH CHAPEL 310 Second St. Pike Southampton, PA 18966.  Interment Montefiore Cemetery.
