Dr. Ira E. Spitzer

Dr. Ira E. Spitzer, 76, on April 22, 2026. Son of the late Morris and Blanche (nee Gross). He is survived by many cousins. He was a proud graduate of Central High School Class of 226, Muhlenberg College 1971, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine 1976. He practiced as an allergist and immunologist in Lower Bucks County before his retirement. He was a lover of wildlife and owned and cared for many rescued dogs during his lifetime. He traveled the world playing rugby and scuba diving. His loss will be felt by his extended family and former patients. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM precisely at Mt. Sharon Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Barry Gross and Joanne Green Sunday only. Contributions in his memory may be made to Brookline Lab Rescue or a charity of the donor's choice.
