Dr. Bradley Harvey Sevin, aged 81, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Haverford, Pennsylvania. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication in the fields of psychiatry and psychoanalysis.

Born on November 11, 1943, in New Haven, Connecticut, Dr. Sevin pursued his interests in science and healing to earn a Doctor of Medicine at Temple University, following his graduation from Trinity College. A highly respected psychiatrist, he practiced for several decades, specializing in consultation liaison psychiatry, where he adeptly combined his expertise in both physical and mental health. He paired his training in internal medicine, psychoanalysis, and psychotherapeutic techniques with a deep commitment to doing all that he could to help his patients. Dr. Sevin was not only a practitioner but also an educator, recognized for his contributions to the understanding and treatment of patients with complex needs.

Brad was known for his passions beyond medicine, including cooking, gardening, and music. He was a steadfast supporter of Philadelphia sports teams and cherished time spent with family and friends. His kindness, empathy, and sense of humor enriched the lives of those around him, and the sound of his deep and hearty belly-laughs brought light and joy.

Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Liza" (Guttman) Sevin; his daughter, Jennifer Sevin-Sullivan (husband Patrick); his son, Joshua Sevin (wife Naomi); and his granddaughters, Hillary and Maia Sevin. He will be deeply missed by his family and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.
