DOROTHY, (nee Greenspun), age 96, on August 31, 2009 of natural causes. Beloved wife for 65 years to the late Dr. Leonard Simkins. Devoted mother of Dr. Alan Simkins and his wife, Sandra, of Garnet Valley, PA. Cherished grand-mother of Andrea Simkins Watt and her husband, Philip, of Arlington, VA and great-grand-mother to and one year old Lawson Watt. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Zelda Greenspun, of Portland, Maine, her dear friend for over 90 years, Jeannete Cooper of Merion, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. A funeral was held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009.
