Doris Schiller

On June 23rd, 2023, Doris (Metzger) Schiller passed. Doris was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany on January 6, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Pauline (Altschul) and Kurt Metzger. At the age of 5, she, with her parents, immigrated to Louisville, Kentucky. After high school graduation in 1950, Doris was employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for 8 years. In 1958 she met Jack M. Schiller from Philadelphia, PA. They were married on June 20, 1959 and resided in Philadelphia until 1993 when they moved to Warrington, PA. She worked for WB Waldman for over 25 years. After retiring, she served on several boards of organizations (A League of Our Own, Warrington Women’s Club) as well as volunteering at the Doylestown Hosptial Wellness Center. She is survived by a son, Lee Schiller born in 1965. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services at Roosevelt Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 27th at 11:00 AM precisely.
