DORA R. Goren (nee Horowitz) age 96, born in Brooklyn, raised in the Bronx, formerly of Phila. and Flourtown. A graduate of Hunter College, active at Temple Sinai. Mrs. Goren was instrumental in running Harris Drugs, Family Drugs, Jaffe Drugs for whom she worked until the age of 90. She loved bridge and knitting. Her true legacy is the wonderful family that remains. She was predeceased by her late husband, Herman. She is survived by her sons Dr. Elihu (Sara) Goren, Dr. Oscar (Gail) Goren and Neal (Kerry) Goren; her grandchildren Rabbi Seth Goren, Adam (Jennifer) Goren, Dr. Aliza (Aaron) Rabinowitz, Dr. Rachael (Molly) Goren-Watts, Joshua (fiancé Jennifer Rush) Goren, Kyra Goren, and Chasen Goren; her great grand-children Ruby Goren, Sam Goren, Ronen Rabinowitz, Orli Rabinowitz, Liana Goren and Jonah Goren-Watts; her beloved sisters Sarah Gorelik (104 ½) and Beatrice Brainin (91). Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Monday 2 P.M. precisely at Shalom Memorial Park (Sec. Jacob 2), Huntingdon Valley, PA. Following Services Shiva will be observed at the home of Dr. Elihu and Sara Goren on Monday only. Contributions in her memory may be made to any charity that benefits the State of Israel or any Jewish charity of the donor's choice.
