Donna Friedman

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Donna S. Friedman (née Sussman) on February 25, 2025, at the age of 78.

Donna was a proud graduate of Girls High. She pursued a career in healthcare, earning her certification as an X-ray technician and beginning her career at Albert Einstein Medical Center. After dedicating several years to raising her family, she resumed her career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in the Office of Medical Staff Affairs. She later became a certified Medical Staff Professional and was an active member of the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), the Pennsylvania Association of Medical Staff Services (PAMSS), and her local chapter, where she built lifelong friendships.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter Marna (Friedman) Caintic; her late daughter Kymme (Friedman) Kaufman and son-in-law Steven Kaufman; her grandchildren Naomi Kaufman, Eli Kaufman, Gabriella Caintic, Olivia Caintic, and Ari Kaufman; her brother William (Sheryl) Sussman; as well as her nephews and many cherished cousins.

Affectionately known as Mommom and Doonies, Donna will be remembered for her love of family, dining out, shopping, long sunny beach days, getting lost in a good book, and the joy she found in the family pets.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Friday, February 28, 11:00 AM precisely at Roosevelt Memorial Park (Sec. B-5), 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose PA 19053. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the RSDA and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to both family and career will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
