Donna Rae Behringer

 (nee Torban), 79, passed away on May 28, 2024. Donna was born in Philadelphia, PA to Lola and Albie Torban. She is a graduate of the Class of 1962 of Germantown High School. She went on to work as a secretary at Albert M. Greenfield, a real estate company in Philadelphia, PA. She later worked in the insurance industry as an administrative assistant for Doroshow Lipchutz and later managed the office of Palley Simon Life and Benefits for more than 20 years.

She was extremely involved in dog rescue, beginning with the National Greyhound Adoption group, and provided a loving home to 10 dogs over the years, including her latest beloved Melly and Dani. 

Donna is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Behringer; loving mother of Mindy Toran (Michael), Marc Weinstein (Lori); devoted grandmother of Jacob, Mikayla, Sam, Max, Anna and Max; sister of Jack Torban (Molly), Clifford Torban (Heidi), and Carl Torban (Angela); and aunt of Eric, Lisa, Jason, Melissa, Alex, Samantha, and Randy. In addition, Donna is survived by many loyal friends who will miss her dearly. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at Goldstein’s Rosenberg’s Suburban North Chapel, at 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA, 18966, at 3:30 PM on Thursday, May 30. Shiva will be observed at the home of Mindy and Michael Toran immediately following the service.
