DIANE AMITAI

April 10, 1935 — February 26, 2022

Diane F. nee Fagan (86) of Warminster, PA, died on February 26, 2022. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Amiram Amitai, daughters Pamela, Abby (George Parigian), granddaughter Halle, sister Ellen (Arthur Zipin), as well as two nieces, one great nephew and many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice B. Fagan and Beatrice (Wald) Fagan.

Diane was born and grew up in Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of Girls' High and La Salle and Beaver Colleges. Prior to and following her lifelong career as a Special Education teacher in Wyncote and Philadelphia, Diane became an artist, creating beautiful paintings in oil and watercolors and exceptional pencil and pen drawings.

Diane enjoyed spending many summers with her family in Margate, New Jersey where her parents had a house for many years. She loved traveling with her husband Ami, seeing movies, discussing current events, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and reading (avidly). Diane also supported numerous worthy social causes including Planned Parenthood, Public Television, Jewish Federation and others.

Diane mostly loved spending time with her husband, children and granddaughter. Her intelligence, quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who loved her. And while Diane's illness for the last few years proved debilitating, she never lost that wit and sense of humor.

Services will be limited to close family on March 3, 2022 at 4:30pm at Ann's Choice Chapel, 30000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974. Masks are required. .

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Contributions in her honor may be made to: Planned Parenthood and/or Public Television.
