Dayna Bersh

Dayna Merle Bersh, age 76, died at home on August 30th, 2022, in Levittown, PA. Dayna is survived by her mother Ethel Bersh, brother Dr. John Bersh, eldest daughter, Shelly (Bill) Gorenstein, and son Adam Weiner (Helene Massaro). She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Jennifer. She was the proud grandmother of Jason Gorenstein, Jordan (Keith) Rossman, and Ashley Gorenstein, Rebecca Curran, Matthew, Corey, and Emily Weiner, Evan and Michael Massaro and seven great-grandchildren.

Dayna was born on November 11, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Arthur and Ethel Bersh. She resided in Philadelphia with her family for most of her life.  She served as an administrative assistant for Plumer- Levitt Real Estate and senior administrative assistant for Independence Blue Cross and Shield and retired in 2014. Following retirement, her health deteriorated and she relocated from Northeast Philadelphia to Levittown to live with Adam and Helene and family in 2020.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, listening to jazz music, and reading in her spare time. Dayna spent her last days surrounded by her family. The family would like to thank friends and relatives for their support during this time. Funeral services are private. Contributions can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
