Dawn Marie Friedland (Donahue), 66, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in her home.

Dawn was born in Pennsauken to Wesley and Mary Lou Donahue on December 9, 1956. She grew up in Merchantville and Pennsauken, attending Pennsauken High School. She attended Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, where she met her future husband while earning her Bachelor’s degree.

Dawn is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Friedland, her daughter Kathryn Woodson (Cole), grandchildren Sadie, Connor, and Ian, Sister, Lou Anne Gable, Brothers, Wes and David Donahue, Sister-in-law Lisa Friedland, nephew Wesley Donahue (Lauren), and nieces Lesley Fitzgerald (Dawn), Laura Gable, and Shannon Donahue.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Friedland, aged 11. Surviving this loss and learning to thrive again was a feat of which she was very proud. She was also preceded in death by her loving parents, Wesley and Mary Lou Donahue, and brother-in-law George Gable.

Enduring these losses led Dawn to devote herself to discovering the spiritual side of life, seeking healing for herself and others, finding light and sparkle in a dark world.

Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral services Monday, October 30, 11:30 AM precisely, Goldstein’s Rosenberg’s Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the late residence Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5:00-8:00 PM.
