DAVID, age 92, died peacefully on July 7, 2010. Beloved husband for 70 yrs. of Reba (nee Frost); father of Elaine (Sol) Zeiger; son of the late Fanny and Harry Silver; brother of the late Tillie Schwartz, Sam Silver, Joe Silver and Philip Silver; grandfather of Lynne (Michael) Balaban, Barry (Claudette) Zeiger and Adam (Danna) Zeiger; great grandfather of Jacob, Naomi and Shayna Balaban and Jared, Logan and Alyssa Zeiger. Serving as a Sargent in WWII, 3rd Army, 71st infantry, he helped liberate prisoners of Germany's concentration camps. A life member of the Mason's Equity Lodge, he was a league bowler, a member of Victory Lodge, Wolfe Baron Lodge and Brith Sholom Lodge as well as responsible for the Wolfe Baron Travel Club for over 20 years. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Friday, 11 A.M. precisely at Har Zion Cemetery, 1201 MacDade Blvd., Collingdale, PA. The family is invited back to the home of Elaine and Sol Zeiger. Contributions in his memory may be made to Brith Sholom, Jefferson Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
