David Craig Rotenberg

DAVID CRAIG ROTENBERG on June 29 2025. Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Hansen); Loving father of Evan Rotenberg and the late Mathew Rotenberg; Dear brother of Cynthia Spear, Barbara Vetri and the late Phyllis Pine.

David was the owner of David Craig Jewelers located in Langhorne, PA. He was a graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, a certified Gemologist from the American Gem Society since 1984, and was a Triple Certified Appraiser of Personal Property (CAPP) in Gemology, Contemporary and Antique Jewelry from the International Society of Appraisers.

He was the former President of the American Gem Society’s Jewelers Educational Foundation, a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Gem Society. He was past President of the AGS Keystone Guild and a Guild Speaker where he attended, participated, and was honored at several Conclaves over the years. He was the recipient of the International Society of Appraisers Leadership Award and was a former member of the Advisory Board of St. Mary Medical Center.

In 1988, he was awarded the title of the Certified Gemologist Appraiser. In 2017, AGS awarded him the title of Certified Gemologist Appraiser Emeritus for being an active member for 30 plus years; appointed to the Board of Directors and a leadership position within AGS or the industry. He continued to be an active member with the American Gem Society for over 40 years by recertifying his title every year and participating in the community he began in.
