RABEEYA DR. DAVID (HIKMAT) Passed away on February 18, 2022. Father of Naomi Rabeeya (David Goldberg) and Orlie Beer. Former spouse and friend of Rochelle Rabeeya. Brother of Yossi (Tavasah) Rabi, Ruth Rabi Seker, Shoshana (Syd) Cohen, Yisrael (Batsheva) Rabi, and Dalia Rabi, and predeceased by siblings Shlomo Rabi (Nuriya), Ovadiah Rabi (Esther), Yitzchak Rabi (Ruth) and Tzvi Rabi. Grandfather of Tom Rodgers and Martin Rabeeya Goldberg. David had a long career as a professor teaching Hebrew Language and Literature, Arabic, Sephardic Studies, Bible, and Parshanut at Bryn Mawr College, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Gratz College and Valley Forge Military Academy. He also taught elementary school, high school, Hebrew school, and adult education.
