David Jaspan passed away at his home in Fredericksburg, Virginia on August 13th. He was 67. David was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. He graduated from American University, and he earned a Master's degree from San Diego State University. David had a long and very successful career in the Financial Services industry working for a number of large organizations including John Hancock, Allstate, and the Independent Order of Foresters (IOF).
In addition to his many longtime friends, David leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Carol Mullins, and his son, Tyler E. Jaspan. He is also survived by his sister Carol Bernhard. David was an avid Philadelphia and Kansas City sports fan and enjoyed attending sporting events with Tyler. David was also a dog lover, and he has asked that in lieu of flowers, you consider donating to Oldies but Goodies Cocker Spaniel Rescue (4400 Walsh St., Chevy Chase MD 20824). This organization brought Arnie and Teddy into his life and helped make his final years more peaceful.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 18th, at 10:00 a.m. at Roosevelt Memorial Park located at 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy., Trevose, PA.
