DAVID GOLDBERG

GOLDBERG, DAVID Dec 8, 2020. Son of June and the late Albert Goldberg, brother of Robert and Randi. David had a gentle presence that was felt among his family and friends. Despite facing many obstacles, he enjoyed a wide range of interests and hobbies, always maintaining a positive demeanor. He possessed many skills and a desire to learn. He was a competitive athlete in tennis, golf, and bowling, and an avid cards and billiards player. He loved the challenge of chess and he had a thirst for scientific knowledge. David and his mother shared a wonderful and close relationship in his later life. In addition to his mother, brother, and sister, David is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his good friend, Steve Serafin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hedwig House (hedwighouse.org) and the Wissahickon Valley Boys and Girls Club (bgcphila.org).
