ALLANOFF
DANIEL B., 51, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Hosp. of the Univ. of PA after a long and valiant battle against lymphoma, and ten years later, leukemia. Beloved husband of Andrea (nee Heller). Devoted father of Molly, Hannah and Noah. Loving son of Joy (Dr. Aaron) Bannett and the late Marvin Allanoff. Dear brother of Benjamin and Nancy (Will) Braveman and the late Mark. He will be greatly missed by in-laws, nephews, step-siblings, nieces, cousins and myriads of beloved friends. He was an attorney who grew up in Dresher, PA. He graduated Germantown Academy, Dickinson College and Temple University School of Law. While he had many interests, including athletics, music, cooking, gardening, playing harmonica and producing highly accomplished videos, his family and friends were his greatest source of pleasure and satisfaction. He was known for his wisdom, patience and humor, and most significantly for his ability to give friendship and love. He combined his love of cycling with fundraising for Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation; the inaugural event was a block party in Lafayette Hill to raise awareness of the need for bone marrow donors. The event raised over $35,000 and enlisted over 100 potential marrow donors. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. precisely at Cong. Or Ami, 708 Ridge PK, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. INTERMENT PRIVATE. Shiva will be observed at his late res. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation or the Be The Match Foundation.
