CHARNA BINDER

Passed away from complications of Pancreatic Cancer, December 10, 2020, peacefully at home and surrounded by family. Wife of the late Norton Binder. Mother of Mark Binder, Nina Binder and Karen Binder. Sister of Leah Gorovitz. Grandmother of Victoria, Sasha, and Sierra. A teacher and guidance counselor for more than 30 years, Charna loved her work, and was beloved by the many students she taught and mentored. She was an avid gardener who loved tending to her yard, collecting plants, and volunteering at the Morris Arboretum. An enthusiastic dancer throughout her life, Charna continued to attend ballet classes up until her diagnosis in September. She was a generous, caring soul whose humor and passion will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
