CHARLOTTE K., 78, died July 12, 2009, near her home in Fairview, TX. Services were held Friday, at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Trevose, PA. Charlotte was born September 8, 1930 in Philadelphia to Edward and Eva Kantor. She married Alvin Singer, MD, in Philadelphia in 1954. Charlotte was a Temple University graduate, taught kindergarten and first grade, studied both Horticultural Therapy and Family Counseling. She loved ballet, folk dancing and gardening. Charlotte's generosity, kindness and gentle spirit were an inspiration to her family, friends and all who knew her. She was a wonderful and caring mother, and an intelligent and graceful woman, who lived her life with integrity and bravery. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin. She is survived and will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law Erika Singer and Randy Blades, her daughter Sophia Singer Gill, her son Robert Singer, grand children Joshua Blades and Alexandra Kaia Gill and brother, Warren Kantor.
