CHARLOTTE PETIT

(nee Zysman), 93, on January 16, 2019 of natural causes. Beloved wife of Paul Petit, married 74 years. Beloved mother of Roland (Audrey) and Mireille (Alan), and cherished sister of Simon (Betty). Also survived by grandchildren Rebecca (Mikael) and Alexi. Born in Paris, France, Charlotte, a holocaust survivor, made Philadelphia her home in 1950, where she worked in retail before retiring. She was an active associate member of the French War Veterans of Philadelphia for more than 60 years, as well as being a member of the auxiliary group, Les Ami des Veterans. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A graveside ceremony was held at Montefiore Cemetery in Jenkintown, PA on January 18, 2019. Contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
