Charles Brian "Chuck" Gelband

Charles Brian “Chuck” Gelband, 57, of Eagleville, PA, passed away on July 19, 2022, after bravely battling Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Charles was born on January 7, 1965, to Joy (Brodsky) and Larry Gelband in Abington, PA. After Charles graduated from American Heritage High School in 1982, he went on to study English at Arcadia University. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he worked with AT&T for 28 years.

Charles went on to have 2 children, Hope and Gage Gelband. He is survived by his stepmother Mary Ellen O’Connor, his Aunt and Uncle Gilbert and Margie Brodsky, and his companion Kim Harvey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002, www.als.org/greater-philadelphia, an organization that supported him and his caregivers during this period.
