CAROL LAPINSOHN

Carol Lapinsohn, age 79, died at The Abramson Center in Horsham, PA on Saturday, April 2 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born to Max and Edna Horowitz Claster, she was raised in Lock Haven, PA. She graduated from Penn State University and moved to the Philadelphia area to be a special education teacher in the 1960s. She left teaching to raise her three daughters in Cinnaminson, NJ. Carol loved musicals, classical music and the theater, and she enjoyed going to many shows as well as the opera. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to discover many unique locations. Her greatest pleasure came from her seven grandchildren, and she dedicated her later years to caring for them and being with them as much as she could. She had many friends and an active social life in Margate, NJ, where she lived in her later years, and where she again taught special education. Carol is survived by her three daughters, Susan Markowitz, Marci Freede and Laura Lapinsohn Reale. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Ari, Noah, Abriel, Rachel, Hannah, Alexa and Max. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in her name. www.goldsteinsfuneral.com GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS
