Beloved son of Phyllis Shamberg and the late Bruce Kleger; Loving brother of Belle (Neil) Swartz and Bradley (Michelle) Kleger; Dear nephew of Shirley Barr; Devoted uncle of Jason, Jackie and Cole. Beloved Grandson of the late Pearl and Carl Barr. Brian worked for the Philadelphia Public Library System for the last 30 years. He had a love for movies, jazz and gaming with his friends. His unique perspective on life was apparent in his enjoyment of reading from graphic novels to James Joyce's Ulysses. Brian cared about everyone he met from knowing the names of the homeless on the street to spending hours having deep conversations with his niece and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
