Beverly Rose Taplinger

Beverly Rose Taplinger, of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, passed away October 8th, 2024 at the age of 90. She was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on February 23, 1934. She was the daughter of Harry and Mae Taplinger. 

Throughout her life she worked for Curtis Publishing company, the Federal Records Center and then eventually as a Library aide for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She was very proud of her Jewish heritage and has visited Israel multiple times as well as being highly active in her Jewish community organizations. The organizations she was a part of over her lifespan were  Zionist of America (ZOA), ORT, Hadassah, Americans for a Safe Israel, Jewish women's international (formerly known as B’nai B’rith), and Na’amat’s Davida chapter who she was named woman of the year in 1984. She was a kind, caring, charitable woman who had quite the infectious laugh and spread warmth to everyone she met. 

 She is preceded in death by her younger sister Maxine (Taplinger) Singer [May 28th, 2019, 80 yrs], brother-in-law Edward Singer [March 23, 2022, 83 yrs], and nephew Jeffrey Singer [November 2, 2021, 50 yrs]. Her memory lives on through her niece and nephews Howard (Pam) Singer, Stuart (Sonya) Singer, and Andrea (James) Priadka, along with her great nieces and nephews: Morgan Priadka, Frank Singer, Brandon Singer, Amanda Priadka, and Rebecca Priadka. 

Funeral services will be held Monday October 14, 2024, at Goldstein’s Rosenberg’s Suburban North 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton Pa 18966. Friends and family may arrive at 9am and the services will start at 9:30 am with a funeral procession to follow heading to Montefiore Cemetery, 600 Church Rd., Jenkintown Pa 19046.
