Beulah Rita Saideman

Beulah Rita Saideman (nee Sternberg), passed away on May 18, 2024. Wife of the late Reuben Hyman Saideman. Mother of Ellen, (Peter Margulies), Laurence, Susan, and Stephen Saideman (Katherine). Grandmother of Sarah and Emma Margulies, Tara, Mackenzie, Colin  and Jessica Saideman. Funeral Services Wednesday, May 22 at 11 AM at Sherman’s Flatbush Memorial Chapel, 1283 Coney Island Ave., Brooklyn, NY. Int. Washington Cemetery.

Shiva will be observed at Portable Provisions, 220 E. 81st Street, New York, NY, Wednesday 2-8 PM and Thursday 11 AM-8 PM.

She was a devoted alumna of Barnard College and earned a Master’s from Temple University.  She raised her daughters and granddaughters to be strong women who believed anything was possible for them and her sons and grandson to be caring people who make others laugh.  She loved to travel and explored all seven continents.  She loved food and enjoyed cooking and dining out with family and friends.   She was a founding member of Tikvah/AJMI, a nonprofit dedicated to providing community opportunities for adults with mental illness.  Contributions may be made in her memory to tikvahajmi.org, 10100 Jamison Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116.
