Betty Zelda Miller (nee Smooke) passed away peacefully on August 31, 2022, surrounded by her family in Yardley, PA. Betty recently celebrated her 91st birthday on July 31. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edward. She was the daughter of the late Rose and Zolton Smooke, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Betty and Edward settled in Levittown, PA in 1955 where they would stay to raise their family. Later, they made their home in Greenacres, FL where Betty resided until returning to Bucks County to be with her family a few years ago.

Betty was the devoted mother of Helene Reese (Tom), Judy Elrath (Steve), Jeffrey Miller (Darla), Neil Miller (Janet), and Alan Miller (Jamie). She was the dear sister of Sylvia Gross, as well as the late Allen and Jerry Smooke, and Faye Schwartz. She was the world’s best Grandma Betty to Scott Reese (Carolyn), Jaime Goldstein (Dave), Paul Elrath (Jessica), Julia Polise (Joe), Cory Miller (Olivia Saperstein), Leahann Silverstein (Josh), Victoria Miller, Denny Miller (Brittany), Saige Miller, and Elexa Miller and the proud great grandmother of Emma, Carter, Lucas, Alex, Jackson, Abigail, Olivia, Henry, and Clark.

Above all, Betty loved to spend time with her loved ones. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings, where she welcomed all. Betty loved to travel, see new places and sit outside in the sunshine, especially with her family.

Betty will be remembered for her loving personality, kind heart, smile, and saying, “all my love.” Services will be held privately. Contributions in her memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.   www.shrinerschildren.org
