BLACK BETTY (nee ETTENGER) On July 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 yrs., Maurice (Maury) W. Black, MD; Loving mother of Robert Black; Adoring grandmother of Sarah and William; Mother-in-law of Karen Black; Dear Aunt of Amy (Jonathan) and Mark; Beloved daughter of the late Herman and Rebecca Ettenger; Dear sister of the late Erwin (and the late Frankie) Ettenger; Also survived by grand nieces, grand nephew, and many cousins whom she deeply loved. Born April 9, 1928, in Phila. and raised above her parents' shoe store on Front St., Betty attended Germantown H.S. and Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing. She loved her long-time neighborhood in Erdenheim and worked many years as a nurse and administrator. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Thursday, 1 P.M. precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH CHAPEL, 310 2nd St. Pike, Southampton.
