BERTHA SOLOMON, age 98, died June 4th, 2010. Bertha was born in Philadelphia to Rose and Pincus Joffe. Bertha was the widow of the late David Solomon and the late Alexander Silverstein. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Rhoda S. Pomerantz (Mrs. Irwin I. Feinberg) and 2 grandchildren, Lauren Pomerantz and Susan Pomerantz Moore. She also has 5 step-grandchildren, Michael Feinberg (Christine), Jonathan Feinberg (Denise), Susan Leithem, David Feinberg (Laura), and Steven Feinberg (Megan). She was also blessed with adoring great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were the children of her siblings - the late Lillian Martel, the late Celia Zeldin, the late David Joffe, and her surviving sister, Shirley Friedrich. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday 1 PM precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton. Interment King David Memorial Park Shiva will be at the home of Shirley Friedrich. The family requests that any gifts be designated for the Feinberg Education Fund at Anshe Emet Synagogue, Chicago, IL.
