BERNICE SOCKET

Bernice Socket (nee Handel) died on October 31, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born June 5, 1932 to Morris and Ray Handel. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Richard Socket. She will also be lovingly remembered by her two children, Craig (Pam) Socket and Robin Berger. Sister of Gene (Eileen) Handel and the late Manny (Kitty) Handel. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Ellen, Paul, Jamie, and Daniel as well as her many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held November 10, 2021 at 10:15AM at Washington's Crossing National Cemetery, located at 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. Lunch will be provided following the funeral services at Tiffany's Diner, located at 9010 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Family and friends are invited to observe Shiva at the household of Richard Socket following the luncheon.
