Blefeld (nee Feldman) Bernice, of Philadelphia, PA, age 95, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. Preceded in death by loving husband Alvin Blefeld, brothers Gerald & Dr. Edwin Feldman, as well as sisters-in-law, Gloria Ellis & Rhoda Levy & loving nephews Michael, Lee & Dr. Elliot Feldman.

Bernice is survived by her loving son & daughter, Neil Blefeld (Mauri) & Eileen Blefeld, loving sister-in-law & BFF, Dale Feldman, grandchildren Arie Blefeld & David (Alejandra) Blefeld, and nieces, Ellen Elstein (Mark), Michelle Hyman (Jerold), Bonnie Feldman & Gina Browne. Also survived by great niece Katrina Eroen (Dexter), and great-great niece River Lockhart-Eroen.

Bernice, left behind a profound legacy of love and devotion. As the undisputed Matriarch of the Feldman and Blefeld families, Bernice was the glue that held everyone together. She was a steady rock through every storm, providing the family with stability, clarity, and sage advice.

Her life was defined by a fierce, unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, extended, and adopted family members. Bernice loved her family and always put their happiness and well-being above all else. For 95 years, she offered endless warmth, wisdom, and a safe place to land.

Though she will be intensely missed, her family finds deep comfort in knowing that she has been greeted at the Pearly Gates, reunited with the loved ones who passed before.
