Bernice Elaine Adoni

Bernice Elaine Adoni (nee Barrish) passed away peacefully July 5, 2024 in her home surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 89. Wife of the late Dr. Leon Adoni, Mother of Murray (Devora) David (Christine) and the late Howard Adoni. She is survived by six grandchildren, Stacie (Eric), Alex (Jaclyn), Jacob (Emily), Alyssa (Josh), Rachel (Alex), Erica (Bill) and six great grandchildren. Bernice was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married Dr. Leon Adoni in 1956 and moved to Cheltenham where she raised 3 boys. She worked as a receptionist for her husband’s dermatological practice. Bernice was member of Beth Shalom synagogue. She loved knitting and made numerous hats and blankets for premature infants at Abington hospital. Her favorite television show was Jeopardy and any who knew her could not call between the hours 7 to 7:30pm. But mostly she loved being with family and friends. She will surely be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Interment at Montefiore Cemetery, Jenkintown, PA.
