Bernard Rounick, 72, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was a loyal husband for over 41 years to his loving wife Elyce, a brother to three sisters, a father to three beloved children, a poppy to four grandbabies, and a close friend to many.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 17, 1953, son of the late Charles and Dorothea Rounick, Bernard was a successful self-made business owner and ran Dot’s Place in Wildwood, NJ for many years. He started his business working in flea markets around the Philadelphia area. He was also a savvy stock market investor.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Danielle Rounick, Erica (Alex) Sorin, and Matthew (Deborah) Rounick; his grandchildren Mason, Sarah, Morgan, and Ronen; and his sister Eleanor (Tony) Rounick-Weintraub.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors at 310 2nd Street Pike in Southampton, PA 18966 on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 3:30pm.
