Bernard (Bernie) Singer died on May 22, 2026 at the age of 90. 

He is survived by his children Steven Singer (Adrienne Singer), Stacey Singer Rood (Gregg Rood), Ben Singer (Cindy Singer) and Jennifer Roane (Ben Roane). 

He was Zayda to Adam Singer, Dana Horan (Brendan Horan), Ilana Rood (Levi Bella), Alex Rood, Brandon Singer and Angela Roane. He was predeceased by his grandson, Dylan Singer. 

He is also survived by his wife, Sheila. Although they were separated for many years, they remained in close contact, maintained a supportive relationship and enjoyed their roles together as Bubbe and Zayda. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 10 am at Shalom Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA. Shiva will be observed at Steven and Adrienne Singer’s home through Tuesday evening.
