Benjamin Sumilat

Benjamin Roland Sumilat of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, beloved husband to Sheila Sumilat (Wechter) and devoted father to Anna Michelle Sumilat, passed away on April 14, 2024, after an extended illness.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his brother Hermanus and parents Antoinette (Rotty) and Laurens David. Benjamin was born in Manado, Indonesia on June 4, 1946. He lived in several different locations in Indonesia. After attending college in Indonesia, Benjamin went to work for Holland America Cruises, sailing around the world for several years until he met his wife, Sheila.

Benjamin graduated from La Salle University and worked up until the time he retired at the age of 75 as a Programmer Analyst. Benjamin enjoyed socializing and traveling. He had many friends and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 27, 11:00 AM precisely, Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 2^nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966.
