BENJAMIN SHANKER

On August 27, 2017, of Philadelphia, Margate New Jersey, and Lauderhill Fl. Husband of the late Gloria (nee Shenker), beloved father of Michael (Suellen) Shanker and Marlene Shanker, brother of Dr. Milton ( Marlyn) Shanker and the late Harry Shanker and adored grandfather of Garrett Bardfield. Ben was a Veteran of WWII who made prostheses for the soldiers, was part of the family lampshade frame business, Acme Wire Products, and later in life worked at various casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. precisely at King David Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA. Shiva will be observed at the home of Dr. Milton Shanker, 29 Versailles Blvd., Cherry Hill New Jersey through Thursday evening.
